Carry out and implement the national laws, regulations and administrative rules regarding the drug supervision and administration; Carry out all guiding principles, policies and rules of the National, Provincial and Municipal Food and Drug Administration regarding supervision of the drug and medical equipments. Supervise the operation and using of the drugs and medical equipments in the area under administration according to law; Investigate and treat the unlawful acts in the operation and using of the drug and medical equipments 

Carry out all kinds of guiding principles, policies and rules of the National, Provincial and Municipal Food and Drug Administration regarding comprehensive supervision on the safety management and organization and coordination of food. Upon authorized by the District Management Committee, exercise the comprehensive supervision function of safety management of food, organize and coordinate the relevant departments to develop the supervision of food safety and the emergency treatment of major accident. Assume the daily work of the local food safety committee and the emergency headquarters of major food safety and undertake other matters of the Municipal Food and Drug Administration and District Management Committee
