On the night of 16 September, the voices of singing and applause filled the sports field of Changxing Middle School, where the grand opening of the Changxing Island Port Industrial District National Day Welcoming Mass Cultural Show was held. District Management Committee Director Xu Changyuan, Deputy Director Chen Guangyin, Gao Shundong, Li Huimin, An Jinxiang and District Management Committee agencies, enterprises and schools etc. together with almost a thousand spectators enjoyed a wonderful cultural and entertainment show, celebrating the 61^st birthday of the republic together.

The performers who participated in this show came from enterprises in the district and people from the community, and the variety of colorful programs including songs, dances and magic shows were entirely self-made, self-conducted and self-performed by the masses, showing the unity of the masses of the entire district, happily welcoming the vitality and festivities of National Day and working hard to develop and build the confidence and determination of Changxing Island.
